Attending Open Source Bridge 2009

I just got registered for Open Source Bridge 2009 and already can't wait for June. Peter gave me the heads up about this conference and I'm glad he did! Just from the description on the About page of the site I can already tell I'm going to love it:

"... five tracks connecting people across projects, languages, and backgrounds to explore how we do our work, and why we participate in open source. The conference structure is designed to provide developers with an opportunity to learn from people they might not connect with at other events."

There's also a big vibe around what it means to be an open source citizen that I think will give a great flavor to the conference. Very, very much looking forward to this.

Plus it's just a short drive down to Portland for me, and I love Portland. Great beer, great food, great Powell's ;-), great all around. And you absolutely cannot beat a three-day conference for $175.

So if you're into open source regardless of language or technology and can be in Portland on June 17-19, register now!
